Xiaoli Zhao, vice dean and professor at the school of economics and management, China University of Petroleum-Beijing. Her study fields focus on Energy Economics and Environmental Management, energy transition policy and mechanisms. In these fields, she is the principal of more than 30 scientific research projects, including 8 national science foundations of China: 1 major project of the National Social Science Foundation, 1 key project of the National Natural Science Foundation, 1 key project of the National Social Science Foundation, 5 other National Natural/Social Science Foundations. She has published more than 150 academic papers, with more than 50 papers published as the first or corresponding author in SCI/SSCI first-class journals or Chinese A-class journals, such as Ecological Economics, Transport Policy, Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Applied Energy, and so on; she has published 4 monographs. She has received 5 provincial-level scientific research awards, including 3 Ministry of Education Awards for Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements, and 1 National Energy Administration Energy Soft Science Research Award. She is awarded the title of "Outstanding Talents " of Beijing. Meanwhile, she is the deputy director of the Energy Resources System Engineering Committee of the Systems Engineering Society of China. In the past five years, she has been continuously rated as a "High Cited Chinese Scholar" by Elsevier and listed as the top 2% of the world's leading scientists
