He currently serves as a Director within the Economic and Policy Analysis Department at the Ministry of Energy in Saudi Arabia. In this role, he leads national efforts related to emissions quantification, energy transition strategies, and the integration of new energy sources—particularly hydrogen—into long-term energy planning. 
  
Dr. Al-Anazi holds a Ph.D. in Hydrogen Energy and has contributed to key policy frameworks that support Saudi Arabia’s sustainability goals and its commitment to a balanced energy future. His work intersects deeply with global trends in decarbonization, and he plays an active role in shaping data-driven approaches to emissions modeling and clean energy innovation.
