Walter Hufford in the Vice-President of Government Affairs and Regulatory Coordination for REPSOL in the United States.  With 42 years of energy sector experience he has extensive expertise associated with domestic/foreign policy development, pragmatic operational awareness, and external stakeholder relationship management.  As a Professional Geologist he has worked as an explorationist, as a manager in corporate environmental roles and as a recognized expert in the industry.  He was appointed to USEPA’s Science Advisory Board Panel as the only industry representative reviewing the national study on Hydraulic Fracturing (aka “fracking”) and has served on other appointed positions dealing with infrastructure.  He holds advance degrees from Texas A&M University and Penn State University and has served on numerous boards throughout his career.
