Aigul has an extensive experience in audit, finance, commercial disciplines, primarily in the energy industry. She started her career back in 1997 and since that time has worked in multinational corporations, such as Arthur Andersen, Baker Hughes, Ernst & Young, PetroKazakhstan and Shell. 
 
Aigul joined Shell in 2009 in Tax, rising to the Country Tax Lead role and other key Finance roles. Aigul’s current role is the Head of Corporate Relations in Shell Kazakhstan with an overall responsibility for government relations, external and internal communications, social performance, social investments and other areas.  
 
She has a proven track record in internal and external stakeholder management and driving successful outcomes through influencing.  This includes representing Shell in tax, finance and commercial networks and negotiations with the government on various high-profile, high-value matters. 
 
Aigul holds Master’s degree in Mechanics and Applied Mathematics with honors from the Kazakh State University and MBA diploma with honors from Kazakh Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP). She received state award “120th anniversary of Kazakhstan Oil” as well as certificates of honor for the contribution to the development of the oil and gas and energy industries of the country.  
 
Aigul is married, have three grown-up kids and two grandsons. She enjoys spending time with family, travelling and reading.
