Fahd Alghunaimi

Dr. Fahd is a distinguished expert in Chemical Engineering and Production Technology, holding a PhD degree from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). With a prolific research record, he has published over 60 technical papers, garnering nearly 1,500 citations, and disclosed more than 40 patents. His outstanding contributions have been recognized with 10 prestigious awards, including the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), Global Energy Show, and World Oil awards. As a distinguished leader, Dr. Fahd chaired the technical committee of the 12th International Conference & Exhibition on Chemistry In Industry (ChemIndix) in 2024. Currently, he leads a Research Group at EXPEC ARC, Saudi Aramco, where he pioneers innovative production technologies for oil and gas wells. Throughout his career, Dr. Fahd has held various positions, including Manager of the Upstream Technical Support Division, Research Team Chief Technologist, Operations Engineering Leader, and Maintenance Engineering Supervisor. Dr. Fahd’s research and development efforts have focused on pioneering innovative solutions and technologies in well stimulation, sustainability, flow assurance, mineral extraction, water management, and hydrogen production, which have made a significant and lasting impact, solidifying his reputation as a pioneer in his field.
