Adel Sarsenova

Adel Sarsenova is a dedicated petroleum engineer and academic with a strong background in reservoir engineering, well logging, and oilfield exploitation. She holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering (2020) and a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering (2018). Currently, she is a senior-lecturer at Kazakh-British Technical University, where she teaches key petroleum engineering courses and supervises capstone projects. 
Previously, she served as a lecturer at West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University (WKATU) and worked as a specialist at the university’s Center for Career and Business Partnership, aligning academic programs with industry needs and organizing job fairs. 
Her research focuses on petroleum reservoir characterization, PVT modeling, and enhanced oil recovery methods. She has contributed to multiple projects funded by Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including studies on advanced PVT calculations and improved oil recovery technologies for high-viscosity reservoirs. Her published work includes studies on sand production control using CFD-DEM models, paraffin deposition prediction, and fluid characterization for Kazakhstani oil. 
Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English, she is skilled in industry-standard software such as CMG, MATLAB, and Python, combining strong research and quantitative skills with practical industry insights.
