Dr. Nobuyasu Chikamatsu has an impressive background in technology development, particularly with regard to sustainable growth initiatives. He has extensive experience working for JGC, a global engineering and construction company based in Japan. The JGC Group is commercializing various process technologies, developed both independently and in collaboration with partners. 
Dr. Chikamatsu's current role is development project leader, focusing on projects that contribute to global sustainable growth. 
Here's a summary of his experience: 
2021–2023: Development Project Leader for the methanation process (methane synthesis from carbon dioxide and hydrogen resources). 
2009–2017: Process Engineer, working on carbon dioxide separation technology using ceramic membranes. 
2004–2011: Development Project Leader for the propylene production process, involving the selective synthesis from methanol by catalytic reaction. 
2001–2004: Catalyst Specialist involved in dimethyl ether synthesis processes. 
Outside of technological development work, he participates in the activities of the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (SCEJ), contributing to education and human resource development in chemical engineering for industry workers. He also contributes to the advancement of chemical engineering by organizing lectures and events that explore the application of the latest technologies in this field.
