Katerina Yared

Katerina Yared, P.G., PMP, CDI.D, is a leader merging geoscience expertise with a commitment to sustainable energy. As Owner and President of Orka Switch Solutions LLC, she drives innovation in alternative energy, acting as an essential "energy translator." Her background spans roles from field engineer to geoscience manager at companies like Baker Hughes, and technical SME at Apache, and SM Energy, plus pivotal consulting for new energy ventures. 
Katerina holds MSc degrees in Sustainable Management (U Wisconsin) and Geology (RWTH Aachen, Germany). Her significant leadership includes serving as the 63rd President of SPWLA, Co-Chair of AAPGWN, and Director for the Energy Leadership Institute, with lifetime SPE and ARMA memberships. Based in Colorado, she believes in early education for social awareness, embodying a blend of career success, environmental sustainability, and a visionary approach to inclusive energy solutions.
