Hans Koopman

Dr. Hans Koopman is Managing Director of TÜV NORD EnSys since July 2024. He also heads the global business field Clean Energy Solutions of TÜV NORD GROUP's business unit Energy & Resources. TÜV NORD EnSys offers TIC services in the nuclear industry, as well as in the renewable energy sector.

Dr. Hans Koopman previously worked for Siemens and Siemens Energy for over 15 years. He started his career in the Netherlands, before he moved to Germany in 2010. He held positions in construction and commissioning, in research and development, in purchasing and in sales and business development. While his responsibilities initially centered on nuclear technologies, over the later years they shifted towards renewable energy and green hydrogen.

Dr. Hans Koopman holds a master’s degree in applied physics, a doctor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in economics.
