N.N. Ahmetbekova is the current Section Head of the Budgeting and Planning Department at JSC NC "KazMunayGas" (KMG), national leader in Kazakhstan's oil and gas industry, with full integration across all stages of the value chain. 
Ms. Ahmetbekova has been with KMG for over 14 years, accumulating nearly 20 years of professional experience in the energy sector. During her tenure, she has been responsible for overseeing the company’s financial-economic models and evaluating the financial viability of projects. 
Ms. Ahmetbekova holds a Master's degree in Arts of Economics, specializing in Financial Analysis, from the Kazakhstani Institute of Management, Economics, and Planning, which she completed in 2005. Her career at KMG began in 2011, when she joined as an Expert in the Project Analysis Department. In March 2024, she was appointed Section Head of the Budgeting and Planning Department, where she continues to lead important initiatives for the company. 
Over the course of her career, Ms. Ahmetbekova has received several awards, including the KMG Commemorative Badge (2017), a Letter of Appreciation from the Chairman of the Board of KMG (2017), and the Medal from the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2024). She is also highly active in professional and public spheres, continuously advancing her qualifications and contributing to various initiatives within the energy sector. 
As the Section Head of the Budgeting and Planning Department, Ms. Ahmetbekova remains dedicated to enhancing KMG’s financial strategies and sustainability practices, while also advocating for the integration of best practices and global trends in the industry.
