Brazilian National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels

Guilherme Eduardo Zerbinatti Papaterra is a geologist with a master's degree in Geology. He is a senior specialist at Brazil's National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency and currently serves as Technical Advisor to the Board of Directors. 
As an academic complement, he has postgraduate degrees in Policy and Strategy, Economic Engineering and Corporate Finance. 
In the area of policy and strategy, he presented an unpublished paper on Stranded Assets and their implications for Brazilian oil resources. In his master's degree, he wrote a pioneering thesis on the geological conceptualization of the Brazilian pre-salt. 
As an article writer, he has discussed topics such as the strategic and geopolitical importance of oil activity in new exploratory frontiers in Brazil and the role of natural gas in the energy transition. 
In addition to the ANP, he has worked for the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy on establishing public policies for the oil and natural gas sector. He also worked with the Brazilian Energy Research Company on the country's energy planning.
