Fadi Saadeh

Fadi Saadeh serves as Acting CEO and Head of Technology at VCM, where he leads the organisation’s technology strategy while steering day-to-day executive priorities during the leadership transition. Fadi combines deep technical expertise in cloud computing, data architecture and cybersecurity with a pragmatic product mindset — applying engineering rigor to design resilient, scalable digital infrastructure that underpins VCM’s exchange, auction mechanics and market services. 

A practitioner of exchange-grade engineering, Fadi previously played a pivotal role at AirCarbon Exchange, where he developed a voluntary carbon market exchange platform, and supported product development and technical architecture at BitOasis. That blend of marketplace engineering, payments / trading product experience and start-up discipline means he is comfortable shipping complex systems that meet strict performance, security and regulatory requirements. 

At VCM, Fadi leads the technology roadmap for the carbon credits exchange and related digital products — driving platform architecture, integrations, data strategy, cyber risk controls and SRE practices. He partners closely with commercial, risk and operations teams to translate market design into robust technical solutions that increase liquidity, transparency and trust across the value chain. He is also focused on talent development, building high-performing engineering teams and raising engineering maturity across the organisation. 

Known for a hands-on leadership style, Fadi balances long-term platform vision with immediate operational priorities: ensuring uptime and security, accelerating product releases, and enabling key market events and auctions. Outside of work he is a pragmatic technologist who champions simple, maintainable solutions that scale.
