Ahmed commenced his professional journey at Aramco’s Research & Development Center (R&DC) in 2013, joining the membrane technology team. In the same year, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds. Throughout his tenure at R&DC, he has made significant contributions to a range of projects focused on gas separation using membrane-based technologies. In 2022, he successfully completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering & Analytical Science at the University of Manchester, with his dissertation titled "Applying Membrane Technology for Sub-Quality Natural Gas Upgrading." Currently, Ahmed leads the Gas Processing Group at Aramco, where he drives innovation and advancements in gas processing and separation technologies.
