Ghala Al-Fahad

Gala Alfahad is a Senior Energy Access Engineer at the OSP, recognized for her work at the intersection of energy access, fuel infrastructure, and government partnership across the downstream energy sector. Her career is built on demanding premise: that Saudi and global hydrocarbon expertise can be translated into, practical energy solutions for global nations, and that doing so takes far more than engineering alone. 

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management. Before joining OSP, she worked at Bahri Oil, where she experienced the energy market from a logistical perspective, following how hydrocarbons move from production to market. That early exposure gave her an operational understanding of the industry that has stayed with her since: an instinct for asking not just whether a project is technically sound, but whether it can actually work on the ground. 

At OSP, Gala leverages her energy background to execute projects under the Energy Infrastructure Development Hub initiative, driving multiple downstream projects globally from early-stage opportunity identification through to Final Investment Decision (FID). In the EID hub, she works actively to identify gaps in developing energy market, and actively turning that gap into a credible business case, building the rationale, pitching it to investors, and then working alongside relevant stakeholders and national oil companies to secure the alignment every large-scale project depends on.
