Mohammed A. Al-Omair is a retired Saudi Aramco executive with over 34 years of experience in
the hydrocarbon industry, primarily in Downstream Operations and marketing.
He served as Vice President of Pipelines, Distribution and Terminals, overseeing Saudi
Aramco’s Kingdom-wide hydrocarbon storage, transportation and terminal operations.
Previously, he was Vice President of Domestic Refining and NGL Fractionation.
His international executive experience includes serving as President of MOTOR OIL HELLAS
Refinery and AVIN fuel retail companies in Greece. Domestically, he served as President of
SASREF, the Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery Company in Jubail.
Al-Omair also chaired the board of SAMREF, the Saudi Aramco ExxonMobil Refinery Company,
and served on the boards of MARAFIQ, SATORP, and SOFON Maritime Industry. He currently
serves on the boards of PETRORABIGH, and ALDREES Petroleum and
Transport Services companies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from King Fahd
University of Petroleum and Minerals.
