Abdullah Mohammed AlMalki

Eng. Abdullah Almalki is the Division Manager of Smart Network Project Management Office at Saudi Energy (SE), where he leads the Project Management Office (PMO) within the Smart Network Projects Department. In this role, he oversees programme governance, strategic planning, and performance management across a portfolio of smart network initiatives spanning the Kingdom’s four operational areas and twenty electricity distribution departments. He has played a key leadership role in the delivery of Saudi Arabia’s national distribution network automation programme, successfully directing the implementation journey from planning and supplier prequalification through contractor mobilization, commissioning, and final delivery. Under his leadership, the programme achieved its national target of automating 40% of the distribution network by the end of 2025. He continues to oversee the sustainment and expansion of these initiatives, contributing to the ongoing advancement of the Kingdom’s smart grid transformation and operational excellence objectives.
